Cable & Wire Harness

Custom cable assemblies, wire harnesses, overmoulded cordsets and panel looms, built to IPC/WHMA-A-620 and tested to 100%.

Built to print

Harnesses that fit the enclosure the first time

Most harness problems are not soldering problems — they are dimension, routing and strain-relief problems that only appear at final assembly. We review the harness drawing against the enclosure it has to live in before anything is cut.

From a two-wire jumper to a full panel loom with hundreds of circuits, the build runs on a formboard against a controlled drawing, with crimp height monitored and every assembly continuity- and hipot-tested before it is packed.

Capabilities

Cable and harness capability

Automotive, medical, industrial control and telecom harnesses, from a single prototype loom to weekly kanban call-off.

Wire harnesses

Formboard-built looms with breakouts, branch tapes, split loom, braided sleeving and heat-shrink identification.

Cable assemblies

Discrete, ribbon, coaxial, twisted-pair, shielded and fibre assemblies with controlled length tolerances.

Overmoulding

PVC, TPE and low-pressure moulded strain relief and sealed transitions to IP67 where the application requires it.

Electrical test

Automated test benches to 4,000+ points: continuity, shorts, resistance, insulation and dielectric withstand.

Shielding & EMC

Braid, foil and combination shields with 360° terminations and backshell grounding for noisy environments.

Traceability

Wire lot, connector lot, crimp tooling ID and operator recorded per build for audit-ready history.

How it runs

From enquiry to delivered product

Send the harness drawing

Wire list, connector schedule, lengths, and the enclosure or panel it routes through.

Buildability review

Bend radius, strain relief, service loop and label position checked before tooling is committed.

Quote and sample build

Costed quote, then a first-article loom with a dimensional and electrical test report.

Fit check in your assembly

You confirm the sample fits and routes correctly. Changes are folded into the controlled drawing.

Production with 100% test

Every assembly tested and labelled; crimp pull-force checked at each setup and shift change.

Kitted delivery

Bagged, labelled and kitted to your line sequence, delivered to schedule.
